Frontline Security in detail

Readiness, not guesswork.

The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, known as Martyn's Law, places new legal duties on qualifying venues and events to assess terrorism risk and put proportionate protective measures in place. Requirements are being phased in, and venues that prepare early will meet them with confidence rather than cost.

This is what we do:

  • Gap Analysis: a clear picture of where you stand today against the requirements that apply to your premises.
  • Documentation and Venue Plans: statutory procedures, evacuation, invacuation, lockdown and communication plans written for your venue, not copied from a template.
  • Assurance Reviews: independent review of your preparedness ahead of regulatory scrutiny, so you know your measures stand up.
No consultancy can guarantee compliance, and you should be wary of any that claims to. What we provide is informed, practical preparation aligned with official guidance as it develops.

See the threat before it becomes one.

Deployment of Advanced Behavioural Detection Officers: trained specialists who identify hostile reconnaissance, unusual behaviour and pre incident indicators through covert and overt observation. Actionable intelligence enables timely, proportionate intervention long before an incident develops.

Where BDOs add real value:

  • Retail Security: identifying organised theft, aggression and hostile intent among genuine customers, reducing losses without harming the customer experience.
  • Events: monitoring crowd dynamics and detecting reconnaissance activity at concerts, sporting fixtures and public gatherings.
  • Nighttime Economy: spotting escalation, predatory behaviour and concealed risk in bars, clubs and late venues before harm occurs.
  • Transport Hubs and Public Spaces: protecting high footfall environments where technology alone cannot read intent.

Knowledge. Preparedness. Confidence.

Practical training and exercises that strengthen your people and prepare your organisation, translating real operational practice into workforce capability rather than generic e learning.

  • Staff Awareness: empowering your team to recognise, respond and report, including behavioural indicators and RUN HIDE TELL briefings.
  • Table Top Exercises: realistic scenario exercises for management and frontline teams that strengthen decision making and build operational confidence, with a full facilitator report.
  • Bespoke Programmes: training designed around your people, your risks and your venue.

Security expertise carried into broader organisational risk, without the overhead of a permanent appointment. The same adviser at the venue floor and in the boardroom, with no hand offs and no junior delegation.

Terrorism Risk Assessments & Site Security Reviews

Structured, evidence based assessments that identify, evaluate and reduce risk across your premises and operations.

  • Terrorism Risk Assessment: a systematic assessment of threat, likelihood and impact across recognised attack methodologies, producing a prioritised risk action plan for your venue.
  • Site Security Review: a full audit of your physical security, access control, procedures and culture, with clear ratings and priority recommendations.
Both assessments are structured around Martyn's Law and wider protective security good practice, so the output supports your compliance position as well as your day to day operation.

Not sure where to start?

Most engagements begin with a no obligation conversation about your venue and your concerns. We will point you in the right direction, even if that means telling you that you need less than you think.
