Security awareness training for venue teams
FloorSense is scenario based training for the people who actually run the floor. Door staff, bar teams and front of house.
Real nights, real decisions.
Most security awareness training asks staff to recognise a definition. FloorSense puts them in the situation and asks what they would do, then shows them what their answer says about their instincts.
Each scenario plays out as it would on a live shift: partial information, competing priorities, and a decision that has to be made before the situation resolves itself. Staff record what they would do and how confident they are, and the debrief shows where their judgement holds and where it does not.
- About twenty minutes: completed on a phone during a break or at a computer before a shift.
- Two versions: one built for larger venues with a security team, one for pubs running with one or two door staff.
- A completion record: each member of staff receives a certificate of completion that the employer can keep on file.
Written for venues as they actually operate.
Generic packages assume a control room, a CCTV operator watching live, and a team large enough to send two people to an incident. Most licensed premises have none of those things.
FloorSense scenarios are built around the conditions staff really work in. Cameras recording but nobody watching. One supervisor covering the whole floor. A decision that has to be made at the door with the queue still moving. The scenarios are pitched to challenge experienced operatives rather than to walk a new starter through the basics.
Evidence of who has done it, and where the gaps are.
Training that produces no record is difficult to rely on when a licensing board, an insurer or an investigating officer asks what preparation your staff had.
- Completion tracking: who has finished, who has started, and who has not logged in.
- Weak area reporting: where your team's answers cluster away from the expected response, so briefings can target the right thing.
- Partitioned by organisation: managers see their own staff and nobody else's.
Set up by us, run by you.
- A conversation. We establish how many staff you have, what kind of venue you run, and which version fits.
- You supply the staff list. Names, email addresses and roles for the people who need the training.
- Staff are invited by email. Each person receives a link, sets their own password and works through the scenarios in their own time.
- You see the results. Progress and weak area reporting available throughout, not just at the end.
- Seats move with your team. When someone leaves, their seat is reassigned to whoever replaces them. Licences are held by the venue, not the individual.

See it before you buy it.
We will walk you through the scenarios and the management reporting, and tell you honestly whether your team needs it.
